We successfully negotiated a six figure settlement in a Court of Session case for a Police Inspector injured on duty in late 1995, which led to his retiral. His claim included compensation for physical and psychiatric injury, loss of wages and pension loss. We are delighted that he can now put what has been a difficult and lengthy process behind him and move on with his life.
Secured settlement of two professional clients claims totalling one million pounds. The first involved a consultant surgeon who was permanently disfigured and maimed in an accident abroad. The second client, a serving police officer, suffered severe injuries whilst transporting a prisoner and the car he was travelling in was involved in a near fatal accident.
Currently pursuing several major personal injury cases in the Court of Session, notably two medical negligence cases involving two young children who as a result of medical procedures have reduced life expectancy.
Acting on behalf of thirty-six clients from around the globe in respect of an air crash that occurred in Libya. The clients are both survivors of the crash and the deceased’s families.
This is a complex case involving conflicts of law with multi jurisdictional issues arising in the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Libya.
